"They" is Chen Lifan's representative work published in 2024, focusing on the contemporary expression of velvet flower craftsmanship. The name of the work refers to flowers commonly seen in daily life: lilies, lotuses, oncidiums - flowers that mothers buy and quietly display on a daily basis. The creation uses rayon silk thread instead of traditional silk to implement the concept of sustainable craftsmanship. Since its first exhibition, "They" has participated in exhibitions in Maison & Objet, Paris, Red Dot Design Museum (and acquired the collection), etc., successfully bringing velvet flowers into the public eye and transforming them from traditional craftsmanship to contemporary narratives.

|Creation Description|
The "She" series focuses on depicting flowers commonly seen in family life, and is based on the flower species that my mother actually uses in her daily life. The works are not centered on symbols of wealth, but focus on "daily emotional memories." All works use rayon silk threads instead of traditional animal materials, emphasizing sustainable practices. Each work is presented independently, with a simple base, highlighting the presence of flowers as living individuals, and also presenting the contemporary translation of craft language and empathy with life.
